Quiet Day planning meeting – 12 May 2016

There will be a meeting at 8.00 pm on Thursday 12 May 2016 at All Saints’ Church Bark Hart Road Orpingtion BR6 0QD to discuss the format and content of the Deanery Quiet Day to be held on Saturday 2 July.

The focus of the quiet day will be on the theme of conflict and reconciliation, with particular reference to the First World War and the centenary of the first battle of the Somme.  It will also be the centenary of the first burials in ‘Canadian Corner’, the section of All Saints’ churchyard set aside during the war for the use of the Canadian forces’ hospital at Orpington.

Anyone interested in helping to plan or participate in the event will be most welcome.  Come and join us!
